Operation Campus FaceliftWhen visiting the campus, have you ever thought it could look better (perhaps the outside of the buildings should better match the excellence going on inside the buildings)? The administration and the PTSO think so and would like your help and support to make this happen. The opening of our beautiful gym this school year has inspired us to make the rest of the campus look just as great. As part of this big effort, we will start with the following two items:
Call for Parents and Alumni with Expertise: We have big plans this year for the campus and would love to have help and guidance from our parents and alumni who own or work in businesses relating to the landscaping, tree removal and construction industries. Who better to help us reach our goal of improving the campus than those that are already in our school community? Please contact Valerie Busch if you are interested in offering your expertise--we would greatly appreciate any and all help!

We know that with your help, along with that of our Horticulture Department teachers Mr. Fairley and Ms. Worrell and their students, we can really make a difference this year in the appearance of our campus. Thank you for joining us to make MPHS an even better place for our students to attend school.

Tips on how to make this a successful and enjoyable evening for all:

  • CARPOOL - Please, please, please arrange neighborhood carpools. If you are meeting a spouse, please drop a second car in a remote location to retrieve after Open House
  • PRINT your student's schedule from Powerschool
  • Schedules will be available in the old gym by alphabetical order, but we encourage you to save time and bring a copy from home
  • Review the schedule WITH your student. Have them label their classrooms on the campus map
  • Wear comfortable shoes . . .you will be moving quickly between classrooms
  • Arrive early and be prepared to park and walk from surrounding neighborhoods, AG and Selwyn parking lots. Did we mention CARPOOL?
